Guide Systems has signed a contract for the supply of a knitting machine for a 250 light section mill. The project to equip the rolling mill with a second knitting machine is aimed at increasing the productivity of the rebar bundle bundling section before shipment and transitioning to more modern equipment with expanded functionality compared to the current machine from an Italian manufacturer. The equipment is designed for bundling rebar with ribbed sections in rods according to GOST 34028-2016. The main technical characteristics of the machine include the ability to double-track rebar bundling of bundles up to 500 mm in diameter and 12 meters in length, with a double-track bundling time of less than 15 seconds. The knitting machine uses only high-quality components and assemblies from leading European brands: Bosch Rexroth, Schneider Electric, Danfoss Bauer, Siemens, Elco, and others. Our advantage is the ability to provide turnkey equipment, including commissioning and a complete set of technical documentation, including spare parts drawings. Guide Systems engineers quickly determined the optimal equipment layout, developed a 3D model of the installation site, and a general arrangement drawing. Equipment manufacturing will begin soon.
